Day 3

Today was really busy! We woke up at 6:00 because we had to pack up the bus. We also had to wake up early because we had a long bus ride to the market and the other children's home in Jinotega.

After 1 hour of riding in the bus we arrived at the market. We spent an hour shopping and looking around at the market. Then we had a three hour bus ride to Jinotega.

When we got to Jinotgega we had rice, tortillas, and vegetables for lunch. Then we had our team building exercise, which was zip lining!It was a lot of fun. On the way home we stopped at a cathedral and toured the town.

When we got back to the children's home we had rice, beans, plantains, and pineapple for dinner. Today was a fun and busy day of travel and tomorrow we have another clinic.

Today we honor a college student that was not able to join us on the mission trip at the last minute. Her donation to the trip helped purchase medications for patients.
